Inspired by walking along the banks of my favourite river in Snowdonia, Wales, "Afon Glaslyn" is a limited edition booklet of 10 short prose pieces that capture the imagination and conjure up the wild landscape and the sounds of a beautiful river. Springing from rocks high up on Snowdon, Afon Glaslyn tumbles into waterfalls, lakes and gorges and reaches the sea in a broad estuary. I have spent many hours walking, writing and sketching in these wild landscapes, had picnics on the banks, hidden from sudden storms as they swept down from high slopes and grazed on bilberries on the way home.
