I used to design and make pocketbooks and limited edition booklets. These included a whole range of designs and colours and several sizes, including my best seller -  a 4x4inch handmade book that really does fit into your jeans pocket.

All my books were made in small batches or as one-off orders and commissions. Most of my handmade books had concertina style pages and folded  flat for writing, sketching, drawing, notes and memos and as inspiration catchers for creative ideas. The pages were made from Fabriano Tiziano paper, which is suitable for watercolour, ink, pastel and collage and smooth enough for ordinary pens. All my designs were tested out on my own walking, writing and sketching trips where they were subjected to wind and weather, the scratchings of twig pens and brushes made from found objects.

I also created limited edition books of prose and poetry, some with original artwork.
